If there was anything the Duchy of Prussia hated more than being left out, it was being uninvited and if there was anything he hated more than being uninvited, it was being forbidden from attending all together. Which so happened to AGAIN be the exact situation he found himself in presently, Brandenburg making it clear to him that he under no circumstances would be attending the morning audience with the Holy Roman Empire and Austria while a battered and humiliated Brandenburg negotiated (groveled) for garbage treaties and protection in the midst of another bullshit religious war.

Frankly, It was embarrassing; the constant trek back and forth between Vienna and Berlin, Brandenburg's increasingly anxious dance between rebellion and obedience made each trip more moritifying than the last. His brother had no talent for war, it was ridiculous. A fool could see the poor bastard was in over his head, too afraid of Habsburg punishment and Nordic retribution to have any objective aside from survival. AND TO MAKE IT ALL THE MORE TERRIBLE, The bargaining chip? The sole thing keeping Brandenburg in line?

HIM. THe fuCKING DUCHY OF PRUSSIA. Stranded and demilitarized in the middle of a sea of fucking belligerents. HIM. A fucking fully autonomous economy stripped of independence and made helpless, dragged into the middle of this shit thanks to Brandenburg's greed and desperation. It was infuriating, ONE HEIRLESS DUKE and suddenly he's Brandenburg's protectorate, being treated like a goddamn child, prevented from participating even in matters that fucking concerned him.

IT'S BULLSHIT. AND HE'S NOT GONNA TOLERATE IT ANYMORE AND HE'S GONNA MAKE IT KNOWN. HE HAS A WORD OR TWO FOR HOLY ROMAN AND MAYBE A GOBLET OR TWO TO THROW AT HIS BROTHER AND AT AUSTRIA, AND HE'S GONNA DO IT, CONSEQUENCES BE DAMNED.
